There's nothing wrong with buying something inexpensive. In fact, it's good to refrain from anything 'really good' until you've learned a fair amount on the subject.

Bought a certified Type 2, MS 60 silver eagle blank planchet. It was certified by the ICG. It was just too cool to pass up :)

A couple weeks back I bought a 1883 PF 63 "no cents" V nickel in a PCGS rattler holder.

The 1904 Double Eagle photo is astounding to my eyes. You did such a good job of photographing that coin. It is just jumping off the page. You should teach a class in coin photography. What is the deal with the "T" and "Y" of the Liberty heading on the front? In all the way you capture the hair and the back of the coin really adds or shows the beauty of this coin that always seems to come up second to the Saint-Gaudens.

I believe the bag marks on the cheek and neck. It appears more obvious in person. I think it's solid for the grade though.
