Been off the internet for awhile, and had to slow down on my collecting - just a single coin now and then. This is my latest addition to my type set.....providing it even shows up - new image optimizer, and I don't know if I did things right or not. Its an 1836 Capped Bust half dollar with reeded edge.....PCGS XF-40

Yeah Mark, that is a nice pick up - only around 12,000 minted. Had to get it for this particular set. as an extra challenge for myself, I decided I'd try to put together a set within a set. If a series has two varieties minted in the same year, I've included them in this set.....1864 Indian cent - copper nickel and bronze, 1909 Wheat cent - VDB and Plain, 1867 Shield nickel - rays and no rays, 1883 Liberty nickel - with cent and without cents, 1913 Buffalo nickel - rounded mound and flat field, 1860 Seated dime - stars and legend, 1917 Standing Liberty quarter - type 1 and type 2, and the 1836 Capped Bust Half - lettered edge and reeded edge. Coming along pretty nicely so far - still missing a few.....the Half Cents, large Cents, and the 1860S Seated dime.....trying to keep the grades in XF, AU, and BU, so I don't have to tell you about how long I've been working on it.

Darth Morgan - Completely agree with your statement "1900 (MS63) - The best MS63 I've ever seen."
