This 1865 Indian Head cent came along with an 1864 "Fattie" copper-nickel Indian in today's mail. I paid $20.00 for both coins on ebay in an auction with poor photographs. The 1865 looked like a nice coin from the auction photos and I was pleased with what I received. It looks like a brown Uncirculated coin to me with some mint red remaining; more on the reverse than obverse. It also looks like it has some clashed die action going on under the "C" in "CENT".

Nice one paul! If you had some verdi-care maybe a light coating would be good for this one and lightly with a qtip may be able to get them super small spots from the ear and the date before 2x2ing this one, will preserve it also.
