Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 11/24/2017 7:56 pm This 1865 Indian Head cent came along with an 1864 "Fattie" copper-nickel Indian in today's mail. I paid $20.00 for both coins on ebay in an auction with poor photographs. The 1865 looked like a nice coin from the auction photos and I was pleased with what I received. It looks like a brown Uncirculated coin to me with some mint red remaining; more on the reverse than obverse. It also looks like it has some clashed die action going on under the "C" in "CENT". If you had some verdi-care maybe a light coating would be good for this one and lightly with a qtip may be able to get them super small spots from the ear and the date before 2x2ing this one,will preserve it also.
