Thanks Raymo. The 1953-S is going to be a challenge. We are leaving that one to the end. Hopefully we will be retired and the boy will be self-sufficient then.

Lakeman, beautiful 1911. I've always wanted one of those. 5 large cents left for me then i'll have the large cents and Indian cents down - Then I'll tackle those.

The 1911 actually has a bit of a story.. My son and I were in a coin shop about 4 hours away from home that we have never visited before. As we were taking in all of the new sights, a gentleman started talking to my son about what he might be looking for and how long he had been collecting etc. I recognized the voice, turned around and it was our local TV Anchor! Famous in my eyes but my 10 year old son had no idea lol. They chatted it up for almost an hour together and the man showed my son the coins that he was going to be buying that day... A 1909 and 1911! My son said "Dad! Look!" We have been drooling over a few on ebay but hadn't actually seen any in person. Well, the man told him that if we wanted one, he would give one up and we could buy it instead! My son was over the moon! Probably a visit that he won't soon forget.
