For any of you that are interested check out ebay sale 110770582710. r***9,"The 2006 Penny Bandit," is selling the penny that I believe he purchased for $1225. I wonder if he will get more then he paid for the MS 64? Any takers/bidders on this one? |

You missed a great show a month or 2 ago Silver Bug. If you are interested then go back and read the old 2006 penny thread with about 23 or 24 pages to it. These things were selling for $2000 + .

Has anyone ever ask larylary why he is so obssessed with hoarding 2006 no logo no mint pennies? I'd be curious to know the reason for all his craziness... |

SilverBug, chance of ever finding a 2006P zinc are at best slim to none.

The reason for hoarding is easy. Buy all of them, and hope one day they're worth $10k-$50k each.
I get his reasoning. Its probably a way for him to invest < 1% of his net worth into something rare.
The risk is that these pennies wont get to $10k+ each...
Maybe its just the thrill of being able to monopolize one particular coin type
