CelticKnot Bedrock of the Community United States 12829 Posts	Posted 11/06/2011 6:01 pm From the pictures it's hard to tell which variety it is and its condition/grade, and with this coin, variety and grade are very important. It looks fairly worn, so based on what I can see and consulting the Red Book, it looks like about $35-$40. Basically spot. Report this Post to the Staff
Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 11/06/2011 7:20 pm it is an 1878 with a 1879 Reverse so you would need to determine if it was one of the "good" VAM's to determine how much it is actually worth in that condition. It is pretty circulated and if its not any particularly important VAM the value would be pretty close to what has been given above Report this Post to the Staff
