Semantics... Canada is the 3rd largest producer of Aluminium in the world.

Do Al coins look good and take good detail? Tell me a coin to look up to see how nicely done they can be done.

Edit: Found some... Al coins remind me of play money and tokens for things. Play money and tokens by the RCM - a new line!

I found there were way more ASE collectors than maple leaf collectors. the lowest mintage ASE is 1995 proof, 31,500 minted, trading at $3,000 on ebay. 1989 proof SML's mintage is 30,000 too, you can buy one under $100 right now. another sample is the recent 25th ASE anniversary 5 coin set, mintage 100,000, issue price $300, sold out in 4.5 hours. right now APMEX buy price is $600, ebay price above $900 already. I wish RCM's marketing team can learn something from US mint to keep the value of their product

i don't think it's as much of a marketing issue as it is a simple population issue. The population of the states is almost 10x that of Canada. Assuming also that ethic backgrounds in the states to be more homogeneous than CA (less diverse interest in the nationality of coins), there are more than 10x the amount interest in American coins than CA.

edited for grammar
