Thanks, the 1935 and the 1936 are about average circulated (VF-XF). The 1950 is about uncirculated. The others are all uncirculated.

Great set ! I started with a similar goal a few years ago, and nearly completed it, when the spike in silver prices forced me to step back.
I've still got my Canadian dollars, and hope to complete it, sooner or later, probably much later.

Thanks everyone. I really like this set. I'm planning to upgrade the 1935 and the 1936 dollars to AU/UNC coins once I find a decent deal but for now I really like what I've got. This is actually part of a complete Canadian type set that I'm working on (1867-Present) and I only need two more coins now until it's finished. I'll eventually post pictures on here once the set is complete and organized.

Thanks again everyone. Yeah the 1935 has a very nice looking, even patina, about as good as it gets for a circulated Silver Dollar.

Nice set. These silver dollars are fascinating. After reading an article a few years back about circulating silver dollrs, I thought I might emulate a select group of collectors who were trying to assemble a complete date set of Canadian silver dollars in the most worn condition possible. The cachet here is that these large coins circulated freely in their days and just think how many hands these well worn silver dollar would have to go through to become almost unidentifiable. Reportedly this small group were looking for coins in fair to good condition if attainable! With the significant increase in bullion values I suspect these coins have now been melted and you could not complete such a set.

OldCoinGuy: That's an interesting concept. Imagine if the future of collecting was in low-grades!
