Poll Question
Sitting on a 2006 $50.00 Proof Gold Buffalo.......Assuming the selling money for this coin would be around $1,800.00....... What coin would you "even up" trade for ? I'll list some of "my" favorites....but please let me know some other ideas too.

I chose 1916-D Mercury dime. Although I want the 1909 S V.D.B. more, the grade I would like to have should cost less than what the gold is worth.

The popularity of "The Big Two Keys" being what it is.....(1909 S VDB and the 1916-D Merc.,) it seems like to me that the 1922 no D is really the often unmentioned "Belle of the Ball" for several reasons. And I'm surprised it's only received ONE VOTE so far ! ... It's worth more for the same grade compared to the '09 S VDB. It's long term value holds or increases just like the others. It always will be considered a valuable "Key". Even though it's from a "worn die", it's still a "hole" in the Dansco to fill ! ...... It's place as a "coveted key" is cemented in history as well as the future. I know though, that the '09 S VDB wins HANDS DOWN every time in a popularity contest though ! I could be "soooo close" to completing my Dansco 8100, if I could get " both" of these two keys ! .... What a pleasure and sense of fulfillment that would be ! ... I wonder if I could get both keys for $1,800.00 ? (in a lower grade of course) And even if I could, would that be wise to get both of them in poor grades ?

I chose 16 d merc as well even though I really want the 09 s vdb. and trust me, that 22 no d was tough to not pick.

I voted 1909 S V.D.B. if it was original, problem free, best grade for a fair trade possible, with great eye appeal. I would consider the 1955 Doubled Die Lincoln as a worthy classic but it is not on the list. or I WOULD KEEP THE $50 BUFFALO !

I think 1916 SLQ is missing, but my pick is the 1916-D of course.

I went to a cash for gold place and the owner didn't seem so confident in gold prices. he thinks we are at the peak... so that being said, getting out of gold at an inflated price and taking a high end key is smart. you can always sell that when gold comes down and maybe get 1.5 or 2 buffalos later. sell the beast!

well I kinda cheated on this and read before I voted and I thought I would be the odd ball when I chose the old gold option but I was surprised that it is tied w/ the O9

it seems like I would keep the gold I mean if I bought one of the keys I would want they would be in lower grades and not worth the trade I would keep the gold and buy a key if I really wanted to blow a lot of money haha
