i love how he says "I've never seen one toned quite like this" maybe thats because the coin is a month old and couldn't possibly have toned naturally. what a scam.

and this one. I saw a similar thread with a cent altered with the twin towers. lots of people thought that was wrong.

oh and his newfoundland War Nickels and rediculous pricing. I would definately avoid this seller. I hope you're not a member of this forum. artificial toning is wrong. some poor truting newbee would buy something like this thinking it's one of a kind. not cool!

You can see where someone obviously held it with something near the top and held the reverse close to a heat source. Hack job, reminds me of that Bud light commercial with the Hackjob remodelers. All they did was put a bucket of beer on the counter, "it's like a new kitchen!"

It's pretty sad what ebay has become, a safe haven for crooks like this.

Like my dad always said, there are people out there that will take you for every cent, in ways you can only imagine.

For thee first Parks Canada Centennial Coin: Several weeks ago, it was on sale for like $169 (around that price) by the same seller! I don't really know who the seller wants to trick.
