I live about 15 minutes away from French Creek. It is a nice little camp, but there is one even closer than that and is very close to the turnpike (less than 5 minutes). It is called Marsh Creek. During the winter when the leaves are off the trees I can look out of the upstairs windows and see the lake in the valley below! So it is very, very close. Here is a link to the website for it. There is a section on camping. There is a lot there, so hopefully this works for you. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepa.../marshcreek/

Thanks for the info but there is no over night camping in Marshcreek.
So how long would it take me to get from French Creek to where the coin show is going to be?

If I make the show Id love to meet the member of CCF, I'm in NJ about 2 hrs away from there. My collecting is fairly seasonal but for a big show like this I'm going to try to make it.

Say an hour. Give or take 15 minutes depending on the traffic. And you are right about the camping I'm sorry :/ I must have read something else.

If we end up putting together a gathering like this, you best believe I'll be there. It's a short train ride for me. We could probably convince Bobby and Susan to attend as well; it's within their commuting range.

French Creek is about an hour + from Philly - Back road to Route 422 to I-76 into downtown. Have camped there several times.

Google "camping in Ephrata, PA" there are a bunch of camps near the intersection of I-76 and PA 222.
I don't know anything about them but you may want to look.
Not too far from Philly
