How do you think NGC graded this one. Spot on the reverse is a crumb or something on the slab LOL.

NICE! Looks like some blazing luster, easy 66 and a good shot at 67...but the images are little small to see any fine details.

Slightly used (mid die state) obverse die combined with a nice early die state reverse die. NICE coin!
Spots on the obverse are holding me back. 65 Red

Kinda a funny story about this coin. I bought it from David Lawrence on ebay. He had it listed for $350 buy it now or best offer. I thought what the heck, and I offered $100... he declined. Then I notice the coin gets put up for auction format with a .99 starting bid...It almost is immediately taken down. Almost like it was listed by accident. Then it goes up for buy it now again or best offer. I offer $125 an am declined. Then it gets taken down saying "it's no longer available for sale". Then I notice it up for auction again...this time I put in a bid for $100 dollars and forgot about it. I come home the next day and noticed I had won it for $81! http://www.ebay.com/itm/19059833608..._1786wt_1396

Wow I was off on that grade, I'd bet the carbon spots have grown since it was graded, it's an older holder.
Many carbon spots come from some one talking over the coin and tiny, miniscule drops of saliva fall onto the surface. Always be careful when handling a raw red brilliant copper coin, these specks are the killers that grow!
