Quote: Anybody else noodling tonight :-) Nice finds everybody! Just so you guys know, if I'm not mistaken, noodling is what those in the Southern US call fishing for catfish, by reaching in to a hole barehanded, waiting for the fish to bite their hand, and wrestling the fish out of the water. Just FYI

And what do they call it where they catch trout or salmon the same way? I do seem to recollect "tickling". I don't think there is any truth in the rumor that it started in Scotland to avoid the cost of the fishing gear. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVgTCkY4-j0 Yes; Googled trout tickling and came up trumps. I went though a couple of ounces of post 46 sixpence I got in a roll last week and after reading Mc Donanlds 2012 today and found 2 x 1952's. they are worth a bomb ($350 in aUNC) for post 46, if your interested. Then looked on ebay and found a 1952 error 6d with no mention of error in the title. for $5...woo hoo.. sfw~~60_12.jpg)

larena, My guess is that it's a 2007 50c as I have heaps of them. Not struck twice, but caused by a damaged die that should have been retired a long time before it was.
