Ok, (breathe) do not use anything on any coin to "clean" it, not unless you want to diminsh the numismatic value of the coin. ...and... This would be a case of NOT "we learn by doing". Glad you asked first, and ALL questions welcome...pertaining to coins, currency, medals,and other numismatic items. It won't, and it's a big no-no to clean coins, except in special circumstances, and this isn't one of those special circumstances. I would put it at F/VF. Report this Post to the Staff
