G4 back then, Perhaps G6 by their standards present time would be my guess.

I'll go with the G-6 folks; my favorite half dollar design, nice example of a circulated 90 year-old coin!

ANACS graded the coin G4. I do think it is on the high end of Good and I agree with Numismaniac that it would be graded slightly higher today.

I was going to guess G-4. The main thing I see is the rim starting to merge into fields. Still a very nice looking coin. It's on my very very long list of coins to acquire.
