I picked up $100 of nickels at the bank last night since they didn't have enough cents.

I finally found my first 2009, a P. Also in there was a 1938D, a 1941S, a 1942 non silver, and a few more I needed to fill holes in my album.

I also found a 5 Euro cent coin which I would have thought would have been kicked out by countign machines but I guess not.

And there was nicer condition 1938P.

Nice finds.

Then slow down and take some nice photos ... better than apologizing forever for poor photos.

Yes I agree that is a good looking 38! I thought my 1941 find the other day in circulation was an early date.

I've got the photo thing down, I just didn't want to drag out the lights, backdrop, tripod and so on. I know everyone wants to see at least some sort of photo (to at least add some authenticity to the story).

Heres some more quick but not so crappy pics of the 1938. Since I had the album out here is my 1950D found in circulation 20+ years ago. I just now found it is a key, I just kept if back then as it was shiny (now kind of golden colored) and I needed it to fill the hol ein my Whitman folder.

I love the 1938 nickel. Very nice roll find!

And the 1917 SLQ is very nice. Did you find that in a roll also?
