I have a 1925 Buffalo nickel that I've had but really never looked at it until I recently got interested in error coins. This coin only has a partial date and has several errors but I'm not sure what to call the error. Any help would be truly appreciated.

To the Forums, kimberlysupak,

You have your coin in the wrong Forum for many answers, the Mods should be along shortly and move it.

Your coin just looks like wear to me.

Enjoy your stay with us and post more pictures of your coins.

Thank you for your comments. When I saw the first 2 numbers on the date were missing and the rest of it was slightly visible, I thought it might have extra metal on top of it. Some areas look rather high compared to another one I have dated 1937. The reverse side's rim is non-existant. The words "United States of America" especially "America" are messed up. The buffalo's tail is missing and his head is at the edge where the rim should be.
Those were some of the reasons I thought it might have some errors and not just wear.

I'm still new and learning more everyday, so whatever advice and feedback I get, I'm grateful. I have some other coins I will post pictures of that I have questions regarding.

Thanks again,

Kimberly
