Ok, I know that this coin is in rough shape, but this doesn't appear to be MD to me. Maybe I'm just going buggy from looking at too many coins... What's your opinion?

I have no clue what you're seeing. No description, and it's not obvious in the photo.

If you are refering the lines to the left of the "5" and "8" of the date it is not a Doubled Die. It is Die Deterioration. It is very common in the Zincolns.

The little camera that I have won't do any better, but I'm sure that y'all are right. It was just a combination of the late hour, and a 7 hour marathon searching effort to finish up the last of my change jars, that got the better of me.

Thanks again for your patience. BTW, I'm having so much fun with this that I'm springing for a little 10-60x stereo microscope with a built in camera. Oh boy! A new toy.
