It looks more like a die gouge, if the line is raised above the flat surface in that area. A clash shouldn't leave an even spaced straight line and nothing from the obverse would leave marks in this area unless the die was rotated at the time of the clash. Here's a nice cent overlay to see where die clash would show up and what parts of it could look like with the dies in the correct position.

I know it isn't a die crack cause I've got and seen lots of those. It is raised above the though.

My coin with feeder finger gouges,find them occasionally but not as severe as this one.

However, this is NOT a case of feeder arm damage. Just a severe case of trails in the same direction of feeder arm damage. BJ Neff

Nice trails BJ. If that were Feeder Finger Damage, it would have continued across the coin and not just in the direction of the trails. What year was this? Nice find.
