Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 12/01/2011 1:24 pm It looks more like a die gouge, if the line is raised above the flat surface in that area. A clash shouldn't leave an even spaced straight line and nothing from the obverse would leave marks in this area unless the die was rotated at the time of the clash. Here's a nice cent overlay to see where die clash would show up and what parts of it could look like with the dies in the correct position.
