1950 50 Cent-No Des '0'.-Die Crack Through Date

I didn't realize that, other than '46 and '49, the hoof had to actually overlap into or onto the last digit of the date. From 1938 to 1945, and 1951 to 1953, a similar metal deposit must be present?
