Lately when I thought I had some great error coins they have been nothing more than post mint errors. Am I having any luck here?

Also it helps if you are specific about what error you see on each coin. So could you repost closer pics in this thread with descriptions and we will give our opinions? Regardless of the answers, hang in there. Sometimes it takes a while and in the meantime you are learning with each post.

I appreciate the responses. I guess I got a little too discouraged and didn't post a better image than I have before. I will redo!

I see nothing on any of these coins that warrant them being called 'errors'. They all look like either normal circulated quarters, or in the case of the two on the right - damaged coins.

By the way, there is no such thing as a 'post mint error'. ALL errors are created at the mint. The very word is self defining in that the coin was created and released from the mint 'in error.'
