Just a heads up. The Animal Cracker (Effigy) bullion puck is most likely done at the Mint since they have now moved on to sales of the Douglas. Last reported sales numbers were 20,300 which is darn close to the all time low mintage Hawaii and Denali (20k)
Not the best looking puck but it might pay off eventually with those numbers

Just bit the bullet and ordered a tube of the Animal Crackers...2nd lowest mintage of any bullion puck.
We'll see.....

Good luck with the tube of crackers! :) My P- puck Animal Cracker puck is scheduled to arrive in the next hour along with my Congrats sets and WP ASE. Waiting around to sign for it now.

My P-puck arrived today along with a pile of other March issues. No Congrats set for me though... boooooo..... This coin looks much better in hand than I was expecting. Then again, the 5-oz puck format gives an extra pop to all the ATB designs, even the weaker ones. On to F-Dug and then one I can really look forward to... Ozark!

I agree it does look better in hand, but still the worse design of the year. I like the look of the Ozark design.

This year has a lot to be desired in the chosen scenes in my opinion. Seems that the very first year many truly recognized places were picked. Maybe to hook us on these coins. Even the second year for historic reasons.

Yes it's nice they do this. As an aside Canada is giving away free annual passes to celebrate their anniversary. It took a while to receive in the mail but completely free. Anyone visiting Canada should get it.

And speaking of the Douglas[s], mine just arrived in the mail today: I still prefer the ones that depict a natural scenic wonder rather than a famous person, but it's nice.

Again, not my favorite design by a mile, but now that I'm looking at it in more detail, it's not all that bad. Should look pretty good in Uncirculated. Like the new puck better than the last one, I guess that was easy to say.

Quote: @Barry - another quality picture, great work! Thanks! I finally shifted away from using a half milk jug with a hole cut in the top as a diffuser and am now using low heat LED bulbs with diffuser cloth covering the lamps. It makes it a lot easier to get the angles I want.

That IS a good deal....and you can use a CC without any extra charge AND singles come in a capsule
On the road now but tomorrow I will order two sets of 5...get 10 capsules and $2 off each puck. I've got a few extra empty puck tubes if I go that route
Thanks
