Effigy Mounds P sales no. dropped significantly from Apr02 (15,363) to Apr16 (14,242). I can only assume the major dealers returned those which didn't do too well at NGC & PCGS...

Mint return policy is 7 days but I can't explain that significant drop. Maybe the first number was incorrect

At 7%, that's a huge drop. Makes me feel better about having mine if the final number is right around there.

Wishful thinking

It just means that they ( Douglas P-pucks) will be on sale forever...people are just getting tired of the huge markup on the series

The Effigy bullion puck is probably done though...

..and I just ordered a tube of the Douglas pucks using that APMEX link ..$103.60 each

Thanks again for the link

That's still about a $2.60/oz premium. Not terrible by any means but nowhere close to the sub-dollar/oz premiums that's typical for bars. Of course you are probably banking on some added value due to the expected low mintage.

Yup, the premium for the pucks and for ASE's are higher than for generic silver and to be expected since they are different products with different inherent values.

Reselling of pucks or ASE's will have the premium paid carried forward...spot price does affect the price but it is linear with the same premium added to whatever present spot is AND maybe a collector premium added.

Just try and buy at the lowest current price available...

Presently CC price for the Douglas in quantities of 5 is:

$109.84 (Provident)
$110.31 ( JM Bullion)
$115.47 ( APMEX without the linked special)
$108.68 (Gainsville plus shipping cost)

SO $103.60 was a screaming buy and $120 cheaper (for a tube)than the same company ( APMEX)is selling them for on the website

I'm hoping I like more of the 2018 coins better than these 2017 coins.

Just received the Frederick Douglass P-coin. All three had the certificate for Ozark Riverways...

You better check your coins.

That really odd. Not as bad as putting the silver half in one of the bday or congrats set a few years ago.
