Yeah, they're few and far between. Also if you're like me, you maybe do one or two transactions a week with cash, so that doesn't help with the hit rate.

I have gotten a few in change, I agree I don't do much in the way of cash transaction but I try to and hope for something good. I agree they are great looking!

These are my favorite coins being made right now
The designs I feel are way nicer then the states or territories quarters, and I like the way the obverse washington looks. A lot of the detail is gone and it gives it an older feel
When I search boxes of quarters I usually get about 5 or so ATB coins sometimes more sometime less.
They are about as fun to me as finding silver quarters, but not quite
congrats on the find, which one did you get?

Got a Glacier and a Yellowstone last week. It's like trying to find the needle in the haystack. Quite a nice surprise to receive one back in change.

I think the more people use actual coin and currency. The better chance tO find these as well as other coins. I have noticed I don't even find pennies on the street or sidewalk much anymore. At first I thought maybe with hardtimes people are picking them up but now I think it may be due to lack of using currency. We all shouldn't depend on debit and credit cards so much. We spend more carefully when using cash and not tracked quite so much. If we want coins to collect we better use them or they may soon be gone

As a side note. The Mint 2010 silver proof set is still avail until Dec 30. If anone wants to have the first proof set you still can for these! I am getting one each for the kids. I will have time for the 2011. I know a year off but who cares as long as the first set is had! Just to remind or inform. I am not a sales person for the mint!
