Just received this coin from a fellow member along with an 1811/0 Large Cent, found in a can of Foreign coins. I don't have a rotated reverse Colonial in my type set, so I thought this was very cool
Still researching Miller #.

Out of all the colonials that you have, you don't have a rotated die? Just kidding of course but nice find!

Great find! I only have one CT Colonial and use it as my avatar. I hope to acquire some different varieties as budget permits. That's such an interesting time in history.

BTW, I'm trying to gauge degree of rotation for my records.
Any help would be great.

Hard to judge because I don't know if these were normally struck in coin or medal rotation.

This is an alluring specimen ... enough detail to identify and enough wear to breathe its history, all on an appealing planchet. It makes me want to do some renewed reading on these. Enjoy!

Thank you exoguy! Colonials are absolutely fascinating and some very affordable. I collect only those as seen in the Red Book.
I would highly advise you read more about them and obtain a couple. They are addictiveonce you get your first one :)
