Just found this real nice 1982P LMC DDO.

It's not matching up with any die markers from coppercoins for the 1982P 1DO-002.

All of the die markers etc are different and there is a real nice die crack from below the FG initials on the reverse running into the base of the lincoln memorial.(Pic # 8)

Would some other member that has this coin mind checking the reverse of their DDO to see if that die crack is present on their coin?

Thanks,

Chuck.

Chuck,

I don't have one but compared your photos with the 002 on Coppercoins and it looks good. Congrats!

Unless you've got a new one.

Is it possible the polishing marks are worn off your example? With the nice reverse die crack perhaps you got a LDS... Just throwing thoughts out there as I'm still a newbie for LMC. Your's is a copper, correct because the 002 is large date copper?
I'm sure you thought of that.

Other more experienced Lincoln lovers will chime in.

That's what I figure it probably is - just a later die state of the same die.

Mine has more wear and does not have the die crack on the reverse. Mine also is a little misaligned to the right. I'll try to post the pics of mine...yours looks great!
