It may get a "details" grade VG-08, but it's better than a "hole" in your collection. I would have it authenticated.

I couldn't get the light right on the front so there is a little shine where there really isn't. The reversed took a good photo.

I would go VG-8 details. I also think its probably had an old cleaning, but I'm not saying that with complete certainty. The reverse looks original, but the obverse does not, could be the light though. I assume you've done your own diagnostics on the mint mark and believe it to be genuine. It's worth over $100 so sending it to TPG could be an option. However, if you want to put it in an album I wouldn't send it in just to authenticate it and then break it out.

G4, cleaned and damaged, looks to have been oiled too.

Looks like it may squeeze in at G6, I agree with the oiling.

Try some acetone on it, that may remove some of the gunk on the coin, probably would grade a G-6
