What are your thoughts on this? Is it a no D?

In my opinion, this doesn't look right. I do see what seems to be a weak D in your last photo, but it doesn't look to me like the 1st, 3rd or 4th die pairs. I'm a newbie though.

I notice the field above the date doesn't look like the rest of the obverse, same is true for the field under the date.

Did you pay for this coin?

I've circled what looks like a D mintmark in this photo.

The more I look at it, the more I dont like it. :/

If you look at Lincoln's front coat, you will see it has the same tone as the area under the date. Reminds me of the way Nicka-date weirds up a coin. or whatever the nickel guys use. That area of the coin looks altered.

It appears to have "rubbed away"; the color where the MM should have been is lighter (coppery) than the unprotected fields above the date. It appears to have vertical lines from the date to the leading edge of Lincolns bust.

I am sharing the same concern as everyone else. Looks like there is something going on in the fields in front of Lincoln above and below the date. The thing that struck me first was how all the numerals in the date look the same.

Yeah I thought it looked fake. I went ahead and tossed it in the trash.

Fake, altered, or whatever; it is, in my opinion, still a good learning tool.

Removed MM fake.

They ground off the MM from a brown coin and then realized it was obvious so they cleaned it to try to cover the deception.

You can check yourself vs. LCR:

Notice the second 2 on your coin compared to the weak reverse die pairs.
