What do you think the grade is on this? I am thinking about picking it up soon depending on grade/price.

Looks MS64brown to me but I don't think I like those spots. I am not very good at grading though.IMHO,

Nice coin, but I don't like those water spots either, but that is just my preference.

But, I would say MS-64 also.

62BN.

Gash in temple, rim hit, and...well...those spots. About a 25 cent coin. Sorry.

Lot of different grades here, but I'm going to say low-end MS, those rim bumps, and especially the gash in the temple keep it from grading above 63 IMO.

62BN. I was going to go 63 with thad until I noticed where he got stabbed in the temple. Between that and the mark in the field of E in cents I just can't do it. beautiful toning and a great piece.

I can't blame him. If you want a toner, sometimes you gotta pay up.

$15 isn't too bad, that is MS65+ BN money for a nice toner that is an otherwise common coin. Personally, I would be more interested at $10 but if the coin has strong luster then the asking price is not unreasonable.
