another "maybe". from time to time I have almost no confidence in what I might be finding. it looks to me like this should be something, but I am not sure. to me it resembles the 1MM-047 on coppercoins site, but there are none of the other die markers present. any opinions. thanks.

It looks very close. You might check for markers on copper coins

It might be an earlier die state than the images provided. A full image of the date and mint mark area might help me to do an overlay?

I just need the entire area of the date and mint mark. The whole image isn't necessary.

Something like this will do perfectly. It shows where the exact location of the mint mark will be in comparison with the 047. (I have both examples.)

Much larger image of the date and mint mark would help a lot more.

Never mind, I used the image. It is a dead on match for mint mark location from what I could get from the other image.

This is without a doubt an example of 1961D-1MM-047. They are rather common, but look very nice.
