so I searched a box of dimes today which have become my favorite. I search the faces of every coin because I find a lot of proofs. Well it paid off today. I was very pleased to pull a 1996 W, which I almost passed by. The shine made me look twice I almost missed it because the "W" wasn't as easy to see as an "S" is. Anyways I posted these picks in the dime roll searching thread but I figured it was a cool, different and once in a lifetime find so I would post it in its own thread. Here are the 2 silvers I found in the same box as well. Click the pictures for larger pics the scans arent the best but its all I can do right now. 96 W obverse 52 reverse, 64 obverse 96 W reverse, 52 obverse, 64 reverse

You can get the dime by itself in the mint cello for about $12 to $15. Paid $10 plus $2 shipping for mine in the mint cello. I have a slabbed ms66 one that I paid $23.80 for with $1.58 shipping.

Wow that is so cool, I guess I might have to venture in to some dime searching. I have been doing pretty good with nickels but I might give them a try!

glad everyone likes it, too bad I can't get better pictures. My girlfriend is the one who works the camera and she is helping her grandma with her broken leg now for the past 2 weeks. She might come home today so I'll try and get pictures with better quality I find many proof dimes, I think I have about 15 different dates including 2 silver proofs in pretty decent shape, but this one tops the cake. I never thought I would find one from a box. keep looking, good stuff is always gonna be out there

Great roll find ... congratulations. The scans work well enough for me to see the "W" dime. Thanks for sharing. David
