I would say it's a high 9. I could be wrong but that is not very often. Any thoughts ? Trends only lists a value up to AU-50

1929-High-9-?

What a high 9 looks like, graded by ICCS

Looks like a low 9 IMO. Put a ruler to the screen, the 2 and 9 are the same height.

I vote high. It looks like the bottom of the tail of the last line lines up with the bottom of the base of the 2. But the best way is to print a photo and make a line with a pen and ruler.

That is a high 9. Note that there are variations with the last digit. The true 'high 9' is the highest, and furthest possible variation.... You can also refer to Zonad's variety website:

The coin shown in the ICCS holder is a high 9. The coin with the ebay number you listed, is not.

As far as value goes, there were recent sales of a pretty ICCS MS60 Lustrous Brown at I think $160 and a very red ICCS MS64 Red at an unpublished price but around $2000 I would guess based on the ask price. There was also an unattributed/uncertified MS62 that sold for $62 that has since been certified and attributed.

All the high 9's I have are level with the bottom of the 2. I have a bunch like that one. I consider them low 9's :)
