This coin is being sold as a 1890 reverse Cud. I see the rim Cud, just past 6:00, but I also see a die clash? Opinions?

Not sure what is going on between the wreath and denticles at about 2:00.

Is that a die gouge east of the shield, parallel with the rim?

Also, is that a fiber coming out of the top of the 8?

The denticles below the date might be getting some action.

There might be a die clash there but I don't think it is significant.

The rim Cud is pretty minor--I don't think it merits a premium. Nice IHC!
Usually clashes are most apparent on the obverse, but I don't see any.

This coin looks recolored - probably to hide the old corossion spots that were removed one big one to the right of the shield on reverse, more spots along the right side of the reverse between the rim and wreath.

The streaking also leads me to believe this isn't original luster, I doubt the coin would make it into a TPG holder without details grading.

If I was a buyer on this I'd be in for half of what they are asking any more and I'd be gone. Probably what they thought when purchasing it.

I do think there is a die clash or something on the reverse, but I wouldn't buy it without seeing it in hand. I agree, westcoin, about your recolored opinion.
