Well I just got home from the local auction house with my small purchase. I won to magnifiers for my 2 step daughters to use while searching for coins.

So I reached into my pocket and pulled out the return change to toss into my jar and there it was a 1943-P silver War Nickel. Here is what is funny, they don't know that I collect coins so I can truthful say it wasn't a set up on this.

So here it is the 5th day of the new year anyone finding anything good yet?

Found a heavily toned Roosevelt in the little change cup at the Post Office. 1949 D. I was so pleased I threw a quarter in to replace it. The lady thought I was a bit odd.

I haven't even had the chance to look, but on my way to Lowe's to get a new hot water tank today I will pass 3 banks. Gonna wait for them to open before I leave and stop to get some rolls.
Rest in Peace

The other day I paid $3 for a polished 51S dime from the antique store on my way to the bank (as I was going to get a box of dimes )thinking it would fill a hole on my album but when I got home all ready have that one on the folder arghhh ! Searched the box and found a 51S for face value . Yesterday at work I checked the coin change machine at the drive through window and found a S mm dime and I said to my self YES finaly a hole filler but after flip the coin to check the date guess what ?! Another 51S dime lol !
