With the standard of your photography, have you considered publishing a book on "Australian error coins"? I know I'd buy it!

Haha! No, I haven't. But if you hang around this forum long enough, you'll probably get to see all the decimal errors in my possession, so there'd be no need for a book then.

I wish I could get the lighting better so the colour in the pictures was more like the real colour of the coins, but if I wait till then, I'd most likely be too old and doddery. This old dog is not capable of learning too many new tricks.

Last night I inspected an interesting batch of 50 cent pieces. Sometimes it is like that. You open a few rolls, and out come a great variety. In my case, Centenary of Federation WA, VIC, QLD, Royal Visit etc.
I also found a "record sized Cud" on the 2005 WWII piece. I have attached a picture. The die must have been in an advanced state of deterioration. Looks like the soldier is lobbing a cricket-ball
