Silver broke sharply to the downside today. We will see 28s next week, maybe even 27s. Support sits in the 26s, but may not go that low.

I guess that will present another buying time! On average have you all been able to buy at reasonable prices in regard to spot?

As a long time speculator I am going to toss something out first and final. There is NO support number for silver period.
Thinking about support numbers in this market place is as crazy as thinking the sky is falling.
Support numbers are only good if that price sits their for a long time not what we have today when the price jumps up and down as if it is on a pogo stick.
This stuff can finally settle anywhere from $18 to $40 dollars when it is all done then we will have what people like to talk about a support number. However these little stops then adjustments means there just isn't a support number at the present time regardless of what the pro's say.
Radical thinking in a radical market that is all to new.

Well you are catching up to me in silver, well almost. I meant my final position on the subject but you knew that. Just keep buying those maples at good prices and you will like silver even more.

I always did think that they were nice but was still surprised at just how gorgeous they really are when seen up close. They really are exceptional coins that are every bit as nice as the ASEs. I like the fact that they are almost always $.50-1.00 cheaper than ASEs, yet have just as much silver in them as ASEs do. I really do think that the future for silver is very bright... probably brighter than for gold on a percentage increase basis. I'm more than a bit low on the 50-cent piece part of my collection, though, so may be adding to that one of these days. I don't have any Franklin halves, so might get some of those if the price and condition are right.

actually they have a little more silver than ASEs do, think about 9999 vs 999 , more importantly SML's face value is 5 canadian dollars

Purchased a roll of UNC Washington's earlier this week. Either way, win, win. Will hold these for the future.
My end all goal? If I end up with a stack at the end of my game for my wife and adult kids to enjoy, THAT, would be just fine with me.
I WILL complete a NICE Lincoln Wheat set in the meantime though.

The longer-term charts for silver, like the ten-year chart linked below, still give me pause. I'm still bullish long-term, but I plan to continue averaging in, not mortgaging the house and plunging in. The chart: http://silverprice.org/charts/histo...ar_o_usd.png

Quote:actually they have a little more silver than ASEs do, think about 9999 vs 999 Lol, yeah, right. Careful there, Silverbug, some of the noobs might think that you are serious here. Quote: more importantly SML's face value is 5 canadian dollars Not sure why, but that appeals to me too for some reason. Quote: I'm still bullish long-term, but I plan to continue averaging in, not mortgaging the house and plunging in. Yeah, I agree... no plunging or mortgaging the house! Silver is volatile stuff, so never put money into it that you need to get back quickly. You could easily end up having to sell just as it drops and lose a good chunk of money. If you can buy and hold for at least 3-5 years, though, there is a good chance that some decent money can be made with it. Very nice pics, Poboxw. GJ! Quote: That is extra 800 a month, 9600 a year. Nice extra chunk to play with there, should be interesting.... Indeed so... now, about that employee pricing!

Dang, I keep seeing these beautiful pictures. And I keep drooling. I had some spare cash I was going to dump in silver next week and those pictures look so tempting. Well, not now. I stumbled across a forklift that was dirt cheap, so spent most of my silver money on it. Paid $1000 plus $100 hauling. Scrap value is $900. Forklifts like this one in this condition are selling for around $2500 here. Whether I keep it and use it or turn around and flip it, I think it was a no-brainer investment with extremely little risk. Now I get to watch the silver boat rise without me in it.

Now you have a forklift to haul those silver bricks :)
Ty on the pics. Of the hundreds I take, a 2-3 turn out nice enough to show

That silver money should be coming back to you as either a nice investment return or a big productivity boost. Either way, it looks like a real nice investment with low risk and high profit potential.
