I've been selling some of my old text books, and I have some cash in my PayPal account, about 300 bucks. I was thinking about getting something in the pm area. I'm hoping for something cool and unique, and preferably something easy to resell (if the need ever arises...)
Just curious if y'all had any ideas!

I also agree with ASE's. They are very easy to resell. $300 should get you about 8 american silver eagles if you buy online (with shipping cost's, etc.)

Be bold, be special, be aggressive, be different. Buy a GSA Morgan silver dollar CC. Or be safe and by the number one wanted silver bullion coin - The Maple.

I like those Carson city Morgans, a lot of them are ungraded though which makes the value hard to tell for me

Maybe not what you are looking for, but one of the 2012 25th Anniversary reverse proofs, I think, is a good investment and do not think you would have trouble reselling it. I think they go for around 300.00 on ebay.

If you shop around you should be able to get close to getting 10 oz .999 silver.

You can get the GSA as graded coins if you prefer. However it is about being unique owning the most wanted type of Morgan silver dollar. It is history done twice when you think of it. The first is being minted at the CC mint. The second is being part of the largest government hoard ever sold. Now being safe and having something that is easy to sell my vote still goes to the best bullion coin on the market - The Silver Maple. Something else I really like are the gold Pandas you can get a 1/10 plus something else. Why get something boring get something fun.

First search that I did I came up with this.... And you would have about 100 left over to get 2 to 3 more oz., depending on how nice you go.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-5-OZ-S...em3a6eca4742Be real surprised if one offered 200 and they decline it.... Those three extra Ben Franklin's in the pay-pal is burning a silver hole in your pocket eh, know that all too well....

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions has given me some things to consider. I would love to own a panda, but with PayPal I'm looking at ebay, and I heard the pandas are heavily counterfeited which makes me nervous. And you can get those ATB coins for 174 on APMEX, with shipping it would prob become closer, but those definately have a cool factor too and I don't own any yet

Keep in mind, I don't think the coin I posted is one of the America the beautiful 5 rounds, but a more rare version of a State Quarter on one side, and a Gettysburg commemorative design on the other....

If you don't want to get Panda but want something similar why not go for the Australian 2012 Year of dragon 1/10 gold coins?
