While going through the coins in a box I found, I ran across a nickel that appears to be one sided. The front is completely smooth to the touch and the back is very worn, but one could tell it's a nickel. I'm just wondering how this might happen and if it might be worth to any collector out there. Here's some pictures

Filed off/sanded off/polished off. What ever is damaged.

looks to have been filed or buffed off. notice the lines in one motion going left to right. It looks like somebody had something against it!

Yeah...Maybe its half of a Magicians coin. Its definitely done by a person on purpose. I suppose its worth $.05...but maybe only $.025 :)

lol I didn't really notice the lines until I scanned it and looked at it closer. I'm still in my infancy when it comes to coins!
