Is This Die Deterioration / Crack Or A Die Variety

Die Deterioration results in the loss of clarity in details as molecules of steel from the face of the die chip away. It looks nothing like this. A die variety would be a doubled die, repunched mintmark, over mintmark, over date, or a repunched date. Obviously a different subject entirely. Report this Post to the Staff
