at each corner of the memorial there is a line going to the edge of the coin except under the FG is just different. memorial is centered properly ... what do you think?

This is a heavy die crack.

Die Deterioration results in the loss of clarity in details as molecules of steel from the face of the die chip away. It looks nothing like this.

A die variety would be a doubled die, repunched mintmark, over mintmark, over date, or a repunched date. Obviously a different subject entirely.

I've sold die scratches on ebay for .60 I figure this is similar... this is a 1983 P
