Here we go! After many folks pleaded for a chance to show off their Mercury dime collections, I'm happy to announce the: (Wait for it...) The 27 Days of Winged Liberty Head (Mercury) Dimes!How does this work? On the 18th of January (first day of posting), we all post pictures of our 1916 Mercury dimes (all mint marks and variations). On the next day, the 19th of January, we all post pictures of our 1917 Mercury dimes. And so... Here's the schedule:18 Jan: 1916 19 Jan: 1917 20 Jan: 1918 21 Jan: 1919 22 Jan: 1920 23 Jan: 1921 24 Jan: 1923 25 Jan: 1924 26 Jan: 1925 27 Jan: 1926 28 Jan: 1927 29 Jan: 1928 30 Jan: 1929 31 Jan: 1930 1 Feb: 1931 2 Feb: 1934 3 Feb: 1935 4 Feb: 1936 5 Feb: 1937 7 Feb: 1938 8 Feb: 1939 9 Feb: 1940 10 Feb: 1941 11 Feb; 1942 12 Feb: 1943 13 Feb: 1944 14 Feb: 1945 We want to see ALL of your Mercury dimes! MS? YES! XF? YES! FR? YES!    |

Right there with ya... In a few years I'm going to be working three jobs, completely broke and thinking "gee, this MS64FB is kinda shabby, I think I need at least a 66FB across the board..."

For some reason, I'm okay with lower-grade coins. I don't know why; it's just me!  |

As a world coin collector by date I have a same sort of policy.. "You can always upgrade".. I can only join this topic for 15 days.. I bought most of them recently way below melt.. |
