OK folks, we got our quarters silver proof sets today. POW! Home run by the mint. These things are beautiful! And the Hawaii looks a lot better than most of us thought it might. The drawing did not do it justice. Here they are: El Yunque  Hawaii  Chaco  Denali  Acadia  I am REALLY liking these ATBs. |

the frosting is so course that the Denali seems to lose a lot of detail. How does it look in hand? The Hawaii and Puerto Rico look better in your photos than I expected from the artist's renderings. I think this set is showing off some great designs. The State Quarters got much better as the series progressed, and the ATB picked up right where they left off. I expect the ones at the end of this run to be fantastic. There's so much detail in some of these that I've noticed things on the 5 ounce version and then I've had to go back and look at the quarter to verify that the detail is there. |

I saw these on The Coin Vault today (for $60 in OGP) I will be ordering a set from the mint this week probably. That Hawaii coin looked absolutely stunning on the show.

Well, I am not a super photographer, and I snapped these and cropped em and loaded them in about ten minutes. So trust me whe I say, these things are BEAUTIFUL in hand. The details are crisp. Just my pic.

I really like the designs for this year (the Chaco culture is ok but the rest are great). I am also happy with the Native American dollar design. I like the proofs and I am looking forward to getting a mint set this year. Anybody know when the 2012 mint sets will be released? |

Amazing like you say, thanks for sharing the pix. Picked up my sets today from the PO. The designs will really pop if they make the 5oz'ers this year.
