As a friend of mine would say, "I grade it eight hundred dollars".

Otherwise, hard to tell from the photo.

The price shown is almost MS64 money, which I would not even remotely consider risking on such small photos. I can't tell the grade from those to within 15 points.

We need much more detailed and larger photos to properly give this coin a grading!

The dealer that is selling the coin never has big pictures. It is "on sale" for $499.

Based on these pictures I thought the coin looked AU

Looks at least a mid AU but as already mentioned better pictures are needed.

On a coin like that I would get one graded so you have an idea of what you are getting...that's a lot of money even on sale for $500 to go out on a coin that may have issues.

Just a guess, those surfaces look dipped out and/or messed with in some way.

price has softened for these Peace dollars...I wouldn't pay over $400 for this grade AU-55...appears to have unusual toning around the forehead and neck region...good luck!

You could ask the seller for larger photos. If he is interesting in selling, he will do it.
