I am anxiously awaiting my recent ebay purchase. I feel I got a pretty good deal on it but I would like your input on where it will be graded.

The details look G+ but the coin has damage and would not grade problem-free.

Post some pics after the coin arrives. The scans on ebay might not reflect the true eye appeal.

I agree with the grade. It looks like someone got excited with their stapler.

Think I paid $70 for my 1834 quarter in VG. It has some slight PMD on the surface, but the rim is full.

G-4 Details damaged surface, probably net at below AG price. I'd say the price was okay, not great, I probably would not pay more than $40.00 on this one maybe $45.00 if I knew I could flip it quick to a buyer. I would be a seller at $55.00.

The dark streaks on the reverse look similar to my 1878-CC Morgan I posted earlier this week in this forum, I believe mine was caused by a rubber band in contact with the coin for many years.

Obverse looks VG but the weak reverse rim and worn legend bring down the overall grade. The dents on the obverse and the rim bruise at 7:00 on the reverse constitute significant damage. On the plus side the color looks pretty good and the coin does not appear to have been harshly cleaned.

The 1833 is possibly the best date in the small-diameter bust quarter set. I agree the price was maybe OK but not terrific.

I would say somewhere around AG because of the wear on the reverse and the damage on the obv. Nice type coin it still has some details on the obv.
