So today, I went to my local coin store to get some new coins as I do every month. I picked up some nice silver coins. They were out of silver dollars (the ones I needed) So I only got one of them. but I picked up some nice paper money and a really nice looking silver eagle.

2003 silver eagle proof ($36)

What B.V right now for a Silver Dollar? Around $20 or so, if my math is correct?

Looks like you got some nice stuff there.

Looks like a good pick to me. I really like the colour on the silver eagle. I wish I could get one like that one day.

I like the fractional notes, shinplasters are my favourite bank notes and honestly that is what got me into collecting bank notes.

I like the small stuff, fishscales for coins and shinplasters for notes.

Good buys over all I think coincollect1.

Start talking US money and I'm out of my league the minute the talk goes past the price of a beer.

It's a nice effect though, ask our US brothers what that is.

Good looking McCavour, like Ugly, I got started in banknotes with shinplasters. had no idea they existed before my first one from '23. Dollars have taken over primary interest but eventually I'll get back to finishing the 1870 set.

I like the hologram effect. Good buys.....the notes look very interesting too...

P.S. Retail on the holograms look to me like 79.00-129.00 depending on where.
