That's a Mexican coin. It's a circulation issue, it's definitely not made of gold, and it's from the 1980's. Worth fifty cents at most.

I believe it is brass from just what I can see of the pic. Would need a much closer picture and one of the reverse side as well to make a true determination.

Definately not gold and you can find plenty of them in your dealer's junk coin lots.

Its made of Aluminum Bronze these coins no longer have a value they have been demonitzed in mexico and now have only a slight value as a collector coin,, the coin in the picture is a well circulated example.

Mind telling us where this question orginated ? is this coin being advertised forsale as a gold coin ? By who ?
