Does anyone have any experience buying bulk lots from "Collectors Internet"? They seem pretty legit and they have a money back guarantee. But before I give them my money I would love to know if anyone here has has any good or bad experience with them.

There was a time (we're talking 7-8 years ago) when they had a very poor reputation. I cannot speak to the present. You're not expecting anything special in those large lots, right? Even though they're too large for CI to search, every large lot started as a number of small ones....

There are still complaints against CI, do a search online. BBB give them a D- for business operation.

I email twice to CI few years back because I have a question regarding one of their products, never got an answer.

I actually posed same question to this forum several years ago and the consensus was that they were not a good operation- overpriced, overhyped stuff, and some bad experiences from blogs on the internet are out there.

I was thinking the same thing. I just came across them, and was going to sleep on it. But now after reading your few short comments, and some other stories online... I think I to will pass on them.

As a general rule there is nothing not checked out completely on bulk buys. Usually just an attempt to get rid of piles of coins that have little to no value.
