Yesterday's Canadian Numismatic Company Auction ... ummm, did anybody score anything good?

I won/bought:

- a 1935 $100 Note (it's very nice)

- an 1876 Newfie 20 cent piece

- a 1973 Large Bust quarter (specimen)

- a 1992 NB 25 cent piece (upset dies)

- a 1999 Sept 25 cent piece (overstrike)

- and a lot of 6 kinda suspect error one cents (clipped)

==>> all-in-all => it was fun (as always) and I can't wait to get my stuff!

That's a good question darryl. I would also would like to know the grade on the 92 Upset Die?
A dealer I know wants $400 for a MS-65.I just wanted to know if it was a good deal or not.

I picked one up almost two years ago for $225 in MS65.
The one Steve got is MS65 as well but I believe the auction started a $1.00.
I am curious if many people were bidding on it and what it went for.

I got them both for $175 together (1992 NB upset dies + the 1999 Septemeber over-strike) ...

=> well $175, then plus their 18% fees

Yah darryldarryl => oddly, it is totally hit and miss ... some auctions are like a feeding-frenzy, but some auctions I swear that I am the only buyer watching the lots tick-by ...

=> and luckily, that was the case is last Saturday's auction! ... I'm not sure if everybody else was watching the NHL All-Star game's skilz competition or what, but it was like a morgue => which is absolutely awesome for a "buyer" like myself

No not me, I didn't find anything I would die for, however, next month's Torex is a different story! I have currently the highest bid on an I.C.C.S., AU-55, 1871H, half dollar. I wanna win it...........LOL
