So much color on this coin not captured in the photos. Lots of luster still evident.

My guess is MS62 I see some flatness on the tips of the wings on the reverse, and the head is not as in focus to really see the head of liberty, but I don't see any real signs of wear, the few ticks I do see are mostly on the reverse. That is one super looking quarter Dave!

Nice coin with lovely original toning but not MS I think. The flatness on Liberty's breast and the obverse stars could be strike weakness but the discolored areas in the reverse fields look like friction. I'd say AU-55, possibly AU-58 based on these images.

From which dealer did you buy it?

I'm trying to talk him into cracking it out for a DANSCO 7070! Especially since the coin was undergraded to begin with. I think it's a no risk move. Come on folks let's give him some encouragement! ;-D

Gorgeous coin - very worthy of a spot in your 7070 :)

I'd go AU55 on this one.

Yeah, it's nice Brian and a solid strike too.
Just enough wear to keep it from 58.

vermontensium - I have admired so many of your great coins. I'm not strong on the tech skills of grading so just - wow - a beautiful coin and congratulations!
