If I had this amount of extra money laying around I just may pull the trigger on this set. It has always been a dream of mine to have one of these old sets like this of each denomination http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...50755780514+ . I know the price is on the high side but how often do you get a chance to purchase the whole set at one time like this

Oh man...that is a gorgeous set. I've shifted my buying more to bullion but if I had the cash I would certainly consider this set.

Why the hesitation. Didn't you notice it is free shipping?
Know what you mean about a bit pricy. That is why I like coin shows. You can chew the seller down.

Make him an offer. I don't know what that set books for but I'm sure he put the "make an offer" available for that reason. :D

Does it have to be a "reasonable" offer? :)

I guarantee they would rather sell it direct than through ebay, always worth a phone call directly to their shop. US coins in Houston has been around quite awhile and are reputable from my understanding.

The set, according to catalogue prices, is worth around $46,500. Not that bad a deal!

C'mon Bryan, you don't have a spare $50K laying around the house? What kind of collector are you? All right, I'll help you out.... let me go check my piggy-bank!

But honestly, all I can do is at the pictures.
