Would anyone suggest saving these? And if so what's the value? Thanks

Everyone will tell you different. I save the ones that are in close to uncirulated condition. Some people save them all. As far as value? What someone is willing to pay :)

I keep all MS from the 80's. I search the culls then throw them back. If you had several full rolls of 'not so good' 82ZSD you might get a small premium. I don't bother.

One price guide lists the Phili. small date zinc in MS65 at $2.00 all others range from $.20 to $.50 but has Unc. rolls copper small date Phili's at $25 and Denver large date zinc at $35. Phili small date zinc at $8.00. Go figure!

That's sort of the way I look at it. Right now there is little to no premium value for the small date zinc cents in circulated grades, but someday there almost certainly will be. These are getting to be really tough to find, and any example that grades AU or better goes in my stash.
